OFFER THAT HE RECEIVED FROM A "REAL" SUPPLIER / GROWER OF WHEAT.
MOST IMPORTANT, KINDLY ADVISE ME IF YOUR BUYER HAS A "TARGET PRICE" IN

2) WE CAN DELIVER WORLD WIDE ON OUR OWN OCEAN VESSELS IN SINGLE SHIPMENTS FROM 10-50,OOO MT, OR MORE, IN BULK PANAMAX VESSELS OR IN OUR CAPE SIZE VESSELS OF UP TO 15O,OOO MT.
3) WE SELL OUR U.S. AGRICULTURAL COMMODITIES BELOW MARKET PRICE.
WE WILL ENTERTAIN ALL "BID REQUESTS" FROM PRINCIPAL BUYERS
INDICATING THEIR "TARGID PRICE". ALL "BIDS" WILL BE REVIEWED
BY OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR THEIR APPROVAL, HOWEVER THE
BUYER'S OFFER TO PURCHASE MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH A LETTER
OF CREDIT WHICH WILL BECOME OPERATIVE IMMEDIATELY UPON OUR
AGREEMENT TO SELL THE PARTICULAR COMMODITY TO THE BUYER AT
BUYER'S REQUESTED PRICE. THIS PRE-ADVISE IS NECESSARY BECAUSE
WE MUST STORE THIS COMMODITY AND REMOVE IT FROM OUR INVENTORY
AND OUR CURRENT SELLING MARKET. WE MUST ALSO COMMIT OUR SHIPS
FOR THE OCEAN VOYAGE TO THE PORT OF DISCHARGE AND IN DOING SO
WE CAN RISK LOOSING MONEY, BECAUSE WE MUST HOLD THESE SHIPS
FIRM. WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE OR TIME CHARTER THESE SHIPS
TO ANY OTHER COMPANY WHILE WE AWAIT THE BUYER'S ACCEPTANCE.
IN ORDER FOR US TO QUOTE OUR LOWEST PRICES, FOR ANY CNF DELIVERY TO THE
BUYER'S PORT OF DISCHARGE, WE MUST REVIEW THE OCEAN TRANSPORTATION
COST WHICH IS THE MAIN FACTOR WHEN DETERMINING OUR DELIVERY COST FOR THE
OCEAN TRANSPORTATION TO THE BUYERS DESTINATION / PORT OF DISCHARGE.
THE OCEAN TRANSPORTATION COST IS DETERMINED UPON THE QUANTITY OF THE
PRODUCT BEING SHIPPED, THE PARTICULAR COMMODITY BEING SHIPPED, TYPE
AND SIZE OF OUR OCEAN VESSEL, BUNKER FUEL, DIESEL FUEL, SALARIES, ETC.,
INCLUDING THE PORT EXPENSES AT "THE PORT OF LOADING" AND AT THE BUYER'S
"PORT OF DISCHARGE" AND NOT EXCLUDING THE POSSIBILITY OF "BALLAST BACK"
OCEAN VESSELS.
IF THE PORT CHARGES CAN BE WAIVED, IT WOULD LOWER OUR DELIVERY COST.
A) PORT OF DISCHARGE: THIS INFORMATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL COMMODITIES DELIVERED & UNLOADED AT THE PORT OF DISCHARGE.
IN ORDER TO QUOTE OUR LOWEST DELIVERY COST TO THE PORT OF DISCHARGE FOR
BULK (OR) BAGGED CARGO, ETC., THE FOLLOWING ITEMS (1) THROUGH (12)
SHOULD BE FAXED TO TWIDCORP, PARTICULARLY REGARDING BAGGED CARGO
BECAUSE WE MUST SHIP BAGGED CARGO IN "GEARED" OCEAN VESSELS AND
THIS IS MORE EXPENSIVE, THAN FOR BULK CARGO, ESPECIALLY IF THE BUYER
WANTS DELIVERY IN "CONTAINERS" WHICH IS EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE THAN FOR
"BREAK BULK" DELIVERY.
B) PORT INFORMATION:
FAX COMPLETE PORT RESTRICTIONS AT THE PORT OF DISCHARGE, AND INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
1) NAME OF THE "DISCHARGE PORT" AND THE PARTICULAR "BERTH".
2) "PORT" AND "BERTH" RESTRICTIONS: "LENGTH", "BEAM", ETC.
3) "CARGO GEAR" REQUIREMENTS, AND LIFTING CAPACITY.
4) MAXIMUM DIMENSIONS TO ACCOMMODATE OUR OCEAN VESSELS.
5) MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE DRAFT.
6) IS DISCHARGE "ALONG SIDE" OR "AT ANCHOR", ETC.
7) GUARANTEED RATE OF DISCHARGE PER WEATHER WORKING DAY.
8) ADVISE WORKING DAYS. ARE SUNDAY & HOLIDAYS INCLUDED OR EXCLUDED?
9) SHORE-SIDE FACILITIES FOR HANDLING AND STORAGE OF THE COMMODITY.
1O) GUARANTEED ESTIMATED "PORT EXPENSES" FOR OUR OCEAN VESSELS.
11) LATEST SHIPPING DATE DESIRED.
12) IF LIGHTENING OF OUR OCEAN VESSEL IS REQUIRED:
A) WHERE DOES THE LIGHTENING TAKE PLACE.
B) METHOD OF DISCHARGE (I.E. EVACUATOR, GRABS)
C) DISCHARGE RATE PER WEATHER WORKING DAYS.
D) EXCEPTED PERIODS (I.E. SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS EXCEPTED)

THESE ANSWERS CAN BE OBTAINED FROM THE LOCAL "PORT COMMISSIONER" AT
THE PARTICULAR BERTH, AND RESPECTIVE PORT.
THE SHIPPING BUSINESS IS A BUSINESS OF MUCH GRIEF AND AGGRAVATION AND
IF THE VESSEL OWNERS ARE NOT FULLY PREPARED OR KNOWLEDGEABLE IN EVERY
ASPECT OF THIS BUSINESS, THEY COULD STAND TO LOOSE MANY MILLIONS OF
DOLLARS.
BUYERS SHOULD ALWAYS BE AWARE OF SELLERS WHO QUOTE CNF DELIVERY PRICES WITHOUT HAVING FULL AND COMPLETE PORT RESTRICTIONS, ETC., IN THEIR HANDS.
